Transience

Transience explores the dynamic and ever changing nature of life. How all living things transition through different phases of life and states of existence. Ghostly silhouettes reminiscent of human forms lend an ephemeral quality to the work. The lower portion of the painting is anchored with colourful forms that resemble dense fall foliage with warm, vivid colours, soon to be followed by a period of dormancy, and then renewal.
