Farewell

Farewell captures the human experience of letting something go and cherishing its memory. Two loosely delineated figures standing upright watch as two shrinking human forms growing more distant begin to fade into a misty grey background. The fading silhouettes appear almost caught mid-transition, on the verge of departing.

The dominant reds, pinks, and warm oranges evoke intense feelings of love, grief, and longing, emotions that are experienced during moments of parting. The moment is bittersweet. There is loss, but also a celebration of the memories of a shared experience that will persist in those left behind.

• Canvas stretched over a 1 5/8" thick custom frame made from jointed pine wood
  
• Sides of the canvas frame are painted black
  
• Finished with a quality archival satin varnish
