Fragmented

This painting is a visual exploration of inner conflict, a lack of harmony and peace. The painting features a silhouette reminiscent of the human form which appears to be breaking apart, dissolving, or existing only in pieces.

Soft grays, purples, and hazy whites dominate the canvas, creating an atmosphere of fog. Within this mist, shades of magenta, deep purple, and turquoise appear like scattered components of the ghostlike silhouette. These brighter patches don’t form a complete figure, suggesting fragments of identity, emotion, or experience not quite achieving a cohesive individual. The figure is blurred and eroded, reinforcing the idea of something is slipping away or struggling to cohere.
